Refund policy

At Absolutely Boutique, we want you to feel confident shopping with us. If something isn’t quite right, here’s how our returns process works.

In-store purchases

  • You have 7 days from purchase to return an item for an exchange or store credit.

  • Refunds are not offered on in-store purchases.

Online purchases

  • You have 7 days from receiving your order to let us know if you’d like to return an item.

  • We’re happy to provide an exchange, store credit, or refund (processed back to your original payment method).

Sale and discounted items

  • All sale or discounted items are final. No refunds, returns, or exchanges. Please choose carefully.

Conditions of return

  • Items must be in original condition — unworn, unwashed, clean, odour-free, and with all tags attached.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked courier, as items remain your responsibility until they reach us.

  • Returns, exchanges, and credits are only processed once the item has been received and checked.

How to return an online order

  1. Email us at hello@absolutelyboutique.co.nz within 7 days of receiving your parcel to request a return.

  2. Wait for confirmation from us before sending anything back.

  3. Carefully re-pack your item with a copy of your receipt.

  4. Send it to:

Important information

  • Exchanges depend on stock availability.

  • Store credits are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

  • Refunds can take 1–3 working days to appear once processed.

  • We follow the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, which provide you with certain rights and protections.
